The Arisaka Defense 600 Series Light Body is engineered as a streamlined replacement for the Surefire Scout Light M600 series, offering enhanced clearance and compatibility. Crafted in durable black anodized aluminum, this lightweight component seamlessly fits with Scout Light M600 tailcaps and heads such as the KM2C, KE2A, and KX2C, as well as IR heads for tactical versatility. Designed without the mounting interface for the stock Picatinny clamp, it significantly increases space at the front sight, making it ideal for use with the Arisaka Inline Scout Mount on handguards with adjacent 45-degree mounting surfaces near the top Picatinny rail. This thoughtful design ensures compatibility with a wide range of aftermarket Scout mounts, thanks to the preserved mounting holes and square lug interface on the underside of the body. The 600 Series Light Body allows users to custom-build a complete light by sourcing additional components like tailcaps and light heads, with popular options including the Malkoff E2HT and E2XT, known for superior beam profiles and higher candela output, all manufactured in the USA. Please note that this body is not compatible with the Surefire M600DF head or 18650 cells, but it supports 16650 cells, offering flexibility for different power configurations.
