The mount provides three positional offsets, allowing precise adjustment of 0.12 inches to either side of center, thus accommodating various configurations and user preferences. The base of the Surefire Scout Light sits only 0.2 inches above the mounting surface, resulting in a minimal profile that maintains weapon handling agility. Installation requires removing the tail cap of the light to access the front mounting screw, ensuring a snug fit without adding excessive length to the assembly.
