Planning to ship a PSA firearm order near Herriman?
Iron Desert Armory is a licensed local FFL serving Herriman and nearby communities. Contact us before placing the order so we can confirm current transfer details, firearm eligibility, appointment availability, and the information the seller will need.
Palmetto State Armory and other online firearm retailers generally require firearms to be shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee rather than directly to the buyer. Iron Desert Armory can receive eligible firearm orders for lawful transfer after the required paperwork and background-check process.
Before you place the order
- Contact Iron Desert Armory to confirm that we can accept the specific firearm.
- Confirm current transfer pricing and appointment availability.
- Verify that the firearm and configuration are legal for you to receive.
- Make sure the name used for the order matches the person completing the transfer.
- Do not ship a firearm to us without prior confirmation.
How the transfer process works
- Contact us first. Provide the retailer, firearm model, and your contact information.
- Select Iron Desert Armory as the receiving FFL. If the retailer does not already have our license information, follow the instructions we provide for submitting it.
- Wait for arrival and check-in. Do not travel to pick up the firearm until we confirm that it has been received and entered into our records.
- Schedule the transfer appointment. Bring the required current identification and any additional documentation that applies to your situation.
- Complete the required process. The transfer is subject to the federal background check, required forms, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
What to bring
Requirements vary by buyer and transaction. At minimum, expect to need valid, current government-issued photo identification showing your present residence. Additional documents may be required when the identification does not show the current address or when another legal requirement applies. Contact us before the appointment if you are unsure.
Local service area
Our appointment-based transfer service is convenient for customers in Herriman, Riverton, Bluffdale, South Jordan, Draper, West Jordan, Lehi, and nearby areas of Salt Lake and northern Utah counties.
Buying accessories for the new firearm?
You can compare compatible products while the firearm is in transit:
- Browse firearms available from Iron Desert Armory
- Shop firearm magazines
- Shop gun cases
- Shop optic mounts and rings
- Shop cleaning kits
Always confirm firearm, magazine, optic, mount, and ammunition compatibility before ordering.
Why contact us before checkout?
Advance confirmation prevents shipment delays, unexpected transfer issues, or a firearm arriving that cannot legally or practically be transferred. It also gives us time to coordinate license information with the seller and explain the pickup process.
Ready to arrange the transfer?
Send the retailer name, firearm model or product link, and your preferred contact information. We will respond with the current transfer details and next steps.
Important: A transfer is not guaranteed merely because a firearm has shipped. All transfers remain subject to identification requirements, required forms, background-check results, eligibility, and applicable federal, state, and local law. Iron Desert Armory may decline or return shipments that were not approved in advance or cannot lawfully be transferred.
